No, hope may not look anything like you had planned for. But hope can take on shapes you never dreamed of, a Lazarus can walk out of a tomb, bodies can come out of graveyards, Jonahs can be spewed out of vomiting whales, denying Peters can jump in the Galilee water so excited to get to a best friend waiting on shore, knowing he is forgiven for disowning him only days before.
No, you may not get the miracle you wanted and prayed for. But hope can take on notes that will leave your heart singing and tongue shouting: Hallelujah!. Sometimes, all you have to do is let go of what you thought would be, to find what Grace says can be. Sometimes, all you have to do is say "Yes" to God, and see what is that you could not see before, because you had never seen it before - but by Grace you do, and for the first time. You see it like a kid first setting sight on Disney World - Wow! Like Joseph, when you do this, your life will never be the same again. Never, again. Amen!
